I do the same with them, too!! I own all of them and know them well enough to quote them without even being in front of the television,
Ahh! My sister and I always say this little convo between Dudley and his parents,

"How many are there!?"
"36, counted them myself."
"36!!? but last year, last year I had 37!"

Makes me smile everytime!

I like to go back to some of the old favorites, it's comforting. I know that no matter what is going on in the real world, mine or the much larger one that Frodo always makes it back again, that Howard Roark will always love Dominique, that Catherine Barkely will always disappoint me as a character, etc. I like the idea of the characters and stories never changing, no matter how much I have. Books have ignited my life in such a way as I could not even describe, it's as if I owe them all a great big thank you, but wouldn't know how to put it into words if I could. Ah well, I am a sucker for my novels, they are like my children!!! :D
You're right, no matter what's going on in the 'real world' movies will always stay the same! I think that's the biggest epiphany you've helped me see in a very long time. A much needed one, to be honest. :) makes me feel calm and okay. Thanks!

Harry Potter weekend, anyone? We're up to Goblet of Fire now, Order of the Phoenix makes its cable debut tomorrow (on ABC Family).

Of course I own them, but how am I supposed to turn them down now, especially after watching the first three already and nothing else is on?

I turned it off toward the end of Goblet of Fire. Watching Monsters vs. Aliens, again. Second time today, 5th time in two days.

I really love this movie.

Monsters vs. Aliens. I love when the prez gets up in front of the aliens and does his little keyboard performance. I laugh so hard every single time.

I do the same thing with A Knights Tale, it doesn't matter that I own it, that I have seen it many many times on DVD AND cable, it doesn't even matter that there is a fresh episode of something I've been watching, I will end up watching it.
