Hi There

Unread post

Hello,

Im from Dublin, Ireland. I'm 40 and I love reading. I like books that move the reader, sometimes practically stopping you in your tracks and immediately making you want to read more by the author and to share the books with friends and family.

Hi Tiberius.

Welcome to BookTalk!

That's a pretty open definition of books you like. Any specific ones (or authors) come to mind?

Your alias makes me think of Star Trek. :) Why did you choose it?

Thanks for the welcome - the username has nothing to do with Star Trek though, just something of an unhealthy interest in ancient Rome.

Interesting... I would not have expected Neil Gaiman on a list with those other two authors. But I think I can see a common thread there. I'm a big Gaiman fan myself. Sometimes when I finish books, I start a random thread on here and see if anyone else has any thoughts on it - all of the authors you mentioned sound like good candidates for such discussion threads.
