I've been seeing this around, but is it any good??? $17 for a book I've no idea about is kinda big for me.

I just started it yesterday. It's been good so far... nothing extraordinary.

I'm too poor to buy books... i get all my books from my library. :D

Burmese Days by George Orwell. This is one of his earlier novels. It foreshadows his distaste for controlling governments, which he expressed in 1984. It is considered somewhat autobiographical since it was written after he served in Burma for a number of years. It offers an insightful look into colonial imperialism.

[Always Jack] by Susanne Gervay

This book has been given the stamp of approval from one of Australia’s most influential bodies – the Cancer Council. It’s a rare endorsement from the organisation, commending the novel for its exploration of cancer and its impact on families. Worth a read!
