I'm viriginia but you can call me VW. I live outside Philly with my husband and two kids and our dog & cat. Our dog Buster, an English Golden Retriever, is my baby! He is my 9 y/o son's austism service dog. My daughter is 6y/o and seemingly NT. I am a few months shy of 40.
professionally, i'm a jack of all trades, master of none. I've been a preacher, dentist, paralegal, and contemplated the roller derby but thought better of it. i love to read, often memoirs & classics, but really anything that's well written. I love music & am learning to play the harp. my username is homage to one of my favorite authors. look forward to some interesting discussions!

I never read any of her books. :/ Maybe you can start a book discussion for one of her books.

I want to read "Orlando". What do you think VW? Pres. has offered to read a book written by a woman, we need to take advantage of this opportunity

I'll be ready to start it on Monday. Thanks VW! I'll set up a thread in the fiction forum where we can discuss it. I'm excited, always wanted to read it, I'm glad I will be in good hands.
Of all the female writers, VW, is the one to read. I think you should try it Pres. You always make for a great discussion partner
