Hi!
My friends call me Mel but that username was already taken.

Where do you live?
Jackson Tn.

How old are you?
26. Soon to be 27.

Are you a male or female?
Female

How did you find BookTalk?
Bing.com

What type of books do you enjoy the most?
Anything as long as it's not sad or boring.

I'm married, no children, two dogs, and my username is the model of my car. So now you know I'm not very creative and like to speed. Oh well....

I work for my husband sometimes. He owns his own lawncare business. Next week I start babysitting a 1 1/2 year old. I haven't babysat in 10+ years so this should be interesting.

I love to read. My husband gave me a kindle for Christmas. Then my parents bought me 20 something books. (used, I'm also easy to please). And then I received a giftcard to books a million. Last week I went to the library and came home with a bag full so I haven't been able to touch my kindle. I would love to hear from fellow users. (That doesn't sound right.)

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Welcome to BookTalk.org, Mel! :)

You're going to LOVE your Kindle once you get using it. I'm about to get in bed and read some more of Huckleberry Finn on mine. There are thousands of free books for the Kindle on Amazon.com. Basically, all of the classics and books over 75 years old are available at no cost.

I haven't gotten a Kindle yet, but I can see that we share a love for libraries and library books. I had to restrict myself; I was bringing home more books than I could read. What titles did you get? -TJM
