Apparently May 21 was an "invisible judgment day." Of course it was. But October 21 is for real this time!

What will Harold Camping say after May 21, 2011 when the Rapture doesn't occur?

WOW!!! How many times does this guy have to be wrong (and look incredibly stupid to boot) before he shuts up!?!
How many people must he hurt?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't the Jehovah's Witness - among their many false prophecies - claim that the Second Coming occured in 1976, albeit and "invisible" event?
WFT!!!
This idiot really believes in the biblical 13,000 year old earth that he's constructed. Enough to where it will take having to get to October 22 before he can even entertain the fact that he's been wrong all along. He's convinced that the bible puts the earth at 13,000 years. So when it doesn't happen again will he blame the bible and call it false from then out? Or will he take the blame himself and claim that he misread the bible? It's a toss up. What would be hilarious is if he becomes an atheist and / or agnostic after the third strike.

I'd be interested to hear from stahrwe what he thinks is right or wrong with this "proof"--other than it doesn't appear to be infallible, as it turns out. The question is, why not? If the Bible is itself infallible, why aren't the proofs we derive from it similarly so?

If you follow the link, you will see another such "infallible" proof--one that has lots of numbers to back it up!ANOTHER INFALLIBLE PROOF
ANOTHER INFALLIBLE PROOF THAT GOD GIVES THAT ASSURES THE RAPTURE WILL OCCUR MAY 21, 2011
God in His great mercy has given a marvelous proof that the year 2011 is the year of Judgment Day and the end of the world. Remember in 2 Peter 3:8, in the context of pointing us to the flood of Noah’s day as well as to the destruction of the world at the end of time, He declared: “one day with the Lord as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.”
Years ago we learned from the Bible that the flood occurred in the year 4990 B.C. More recently we learned that Judgment Day is to occur in the year 2011 A.D. 2011 A.D. is exactly 7,000 years after 4990 B.C.
Just before the flood Noah was instructed by God that in seven days the flood would begin (Genesis 7:10-16). Using the language of 2 Peter 3:8 that “a day is as a thousand years,” it is like saying through Noah, who was a preacher (2 Peter 2:5): “mankind has seven days or 7,000 years to escape destruction.” Since 2011 A.D. is precisely 7,000 years after Noah preached, God has given mankind a wonderful proof that Judgment Day will occur in the year 2011.
God doubled the statement “a day is as a thousand years” to greatly increase our assurance that this is established by God and will shortly come to pass (Genesis 4l:32).

This was Choice 3 in our poll so 3 people got it right! Which of you predicted that he would claim the Rapture actually took place but in a weird way that was undetectable?

Not I Chris. I honestly voted for the shutting up and saying nothing option (I think?).
It's going to be interesting to see Camping backed all the way into a corner thoughout the year. October will pass with no rapture and / or judgement day scenario. Then, of course, the very year of 2011 will pass in likewise fashion. Then what? He's running out of rope...
