Hello!
My name is Allison and I am 29 years old. I live in Wilmington, NC with my husband of one month and our two fantastic dogs. I have worked retail for the past 13 years and just quit my job so that I can focus school and charity work. I'm a political science major and am lucky to be able to pursue my passion.
I'm a HUGE reader. I have a book club on Facebook and am also on Goodreads. I have a list of books I've read starting in July, 2003, and my husband and I celebrate every 50 books (I am almost at 275). I found this site by Googling "Book Discussion" after failing to find something that suits my needs on Facebook.
I will read almost anything. If NPR says it is good, I will probably read it. I'm not a big romance reader (although I went through a very long Nora Roberts phase) and am always looking to have intelligent conversations about books!
I'm looking forward to getting to know the people on here!

Allison: I am currently reading A Feast For Crows by George R.R. Martin its book 4 in the Song of Ice and Fire series. The HBO Series Game Of Thrones was based on the first book. I just finished The Mysterious Affair At Styles which was Agatha Christie's first novel.
