Jane's first post

Unread post

Hi, my name's Jane and I'm 19 (soon to be 20) :)
I'm from Indonesia and currently an international student in Melbourne, so yes, English is my second language. I study accounting and marketing, although I'm basically not so into economy. I'm kind of art person, interested in writing and music (alternative and screamo, anyone?).
And about books, I like reading fantasy and YA, including the famous Harry Potter. I'm not really a good reader since I always end up putting books away before I finish them, so now I'm trying to finish one by putting the book next to my bed  that book is Mortal Instruments book one by Cassandra Clare :)
So yep, I'm not really good in introducing myself :P I'm looking forward to meeting new people here (and getting suggestions for some good books too!) :D

Accounting was really boring for me and I struggled to pay attention. The thing about accounting is everything you learn requires you to understand the earlier material. You can't start in the middle of the book (in case you weren't paying attention for a while) and expect to understand what you're reading. I don't miss accounting. It was required for my business degree.

One of the better fantasies I've ever read was "The Time Traveler's Wife" by Audrey Niffenegger. And your intro was fine!
Money is a lousy way of keeping score.
