Hunger Games!

Unread post

Has anyone read the Hunger Games trilogy By Suzanne Collins? These books are for a younger group more like the Twlight books. However a coworker of mine suggested them and I have to say I was suprised to find they are not bad. I have really enjoyed reading them I am about half way thur the last book.

Do you think these are something that a jaded adult would enjoy? I find the whole teenage angst genre rather tedious now that I am well past my teenage years, but I have been hearing some very good things about the Hunger Games series. I may have to give them a try.

I think adults and YA Dystopia fans would enjoy Against Nature.
It's a contemporary dystopia about a global pandemic in the post 9/11 landscape.

Here's a recent review.

I am interested in hearing about your experience regarding the writing process of Against Nature. Is this your maiden voyage?

As much as I do believe these books are geared more to the teenage girl readers they are and easy and fun read that anyone can enjoy!

I read the first book sometime this year. Enjoyed it but was disappointed in the ending. Looking forward to seeing the movie which is suppose to come out next summer.
