Greetings! BookCritic101 here. I've heard great things about BookTalk, and they're all true! I joined less than half an hour ago and love it already. Can't wait to learn from everyone.
I'm a long-time reader, always in pursuit of a good book. I love to hear other people's opinions and reviews of books. I enjoy clean, uplifting books with a good story, deep characters, and moral endings. I like non-fiction (that's not boring), historical, fiction (with real world applications), and adventure (with swashbuckling heroes!).
Most recently, I read "Oracle - Sunken Earth" by C.W. Trisef. ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Can't wait for the rest of the series.
Good to meet everyone!

Pleased to meet you! I know you'll like it here
"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were
I have not seen as others saw
I could not bring my passions from a common spring
From the same source I have not taken my sorrow
I could not awake my heart to joy at the same tone
And all I loved - I loved alone"
E.A.Poe

Hi Suzanne- I love the caption and know that you'll get a huge amount of feedback and support now you've joined. I'm not actually sure which books I'd put on a hot list, but I know Pride and Pred. by Jane Austen is still up there in the romance genre.Currently reading Love and Friendship by Alison Lurie very sharp, satirical, similar to Revolution Road....Still loving a good old chickflit though.
Hope you enjoy the site.
