Re: Poll for November/December fiction discussion
I'm happy to get the ball rolling, so excited about my FIRST voting
And I hereby give 2 votes to The Street of Crocodiles since I wanna have an excuse to finally read something in my native language.
I would also like to graciously give 1 vote to The House of the Spirits since I've already managed to acquire it at my local library.

"From childhood's hour I have not been as others were
I have not seen as others saw
I could not bring my passions from a common spring
From the same source I have not taken my sorrow
I could not awake my heart to joy at the same tone
And all I loved - I loved alone"
E.A.Poe

Re: Poll for November/December fiction discussion
I will vote 2 votes for The Street of Crocodiles, because it is something I would never read otherwise, and 1 vote for Lost Memory of Skin, which sounds very good and I will likely read anyway.

Re: Poll for November/December fiction discussion
I will give 3 votes for Cain. Reason being that one of my favorite books of all time is the biblical satire, Lamb, by Christopher Moore, and the description of Cain makes it sound like something similar.
