A few books that I read this year and I was impressed with:
1. The Magic Mountain, Thomas Mann
2. Sapiens and Homo Deus, Yuval Noah Harrari
3. Meditations, Marcus Aurelius
4. The Mirror and the Light, Hillary Mantel(this completes the Cromwell trilogy, together with Bring Up the Bodies and Wolf Hall, all three great reads)
5. The Blind Watchmaker, Richard Dawkins
6. The Magic of Reality, Richars Dawkins
7. Flights, Olga Tokarctzuk( last year's Nobel winner)
8. The Abyss, Marguerite Yourcenar( not as good as Memoirs of Hadrian, but pretty high up there)
9. The Broom of the System, David Foster Wallace
10. The Myth of Sisyphus, Albert Camus
