I think I would try Blindness as well, I would certainly read Animal Farm or Fahrenheit 451 again. I would definitely like to read Beowulf too...

I will never read Beowulf again, even if someone held a gun to my head. Sorry, but no thanks.

I second Bleach's sentiment, but directed towards Les Mis.
I just got a few books from GW and "Brave New World" happened to be one of them. I wouldn't mind rereading "Fahrenheit 451" or "Animal Farm" and I'm game for "Pride and Prejudice" as I have it. Also, I've wanted to read "The Jungle" for a long time...
I'm not helping narrow this down at all, am I?

I just started reading Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein, if that appeals to anyone.

I just finished "Lucy." Really good.
And the problem with Beowulf is agreeing on a certain translation or version... I read some from a textbook and it was good. I'm not sure if I'm up for Les Mis, and definitely not Pride and Prejudice... or anything Jane Austen, really...![Laughing ](https://www.booktalk.org/images/smilies/icon_lol.gif)

I will look and see if I still have a copy of Stranger in a Strange Land. It wasn't my favorite Heinlein, but if I can find it I'll read it with you.

I sneak a female author in every once in a while now. There's a lot of girls that have read her and the Bronte sisters' writing. It helps to have some knowledge of female authors to start a conversation... and to ultimately prove girls can't write. lol

Hilarious.
I think I'm going to push Fahrenheit 451 and Brave New World, then. I was talking about Fahrenheit with some friends today and realized I really want to reread it.

I don't particularly want to reread either of those at present.
Would anyone settle for The Handmaid's Tale by Margaret Atwood?
