The builders in the shop next door to where I work are playing what I believe is called 'garage' music.

I sound like our parents - grumbling about what the younger generation calls music these days.

We listened to Elvis, The Beatles and Bob Dylan......and our parents said it was noise, not music.

Disliking new popular music is a sign of old age....and I must stop criticising. I mean I am old, and I don't want to be the oldest swinger in town. It wouldn't do if we all liked the same things.

(But, that techno music does sound 'orrible to me!!!)
