You had to build on the word rather than just what popped into your mind, to make a compound word or a common phrase like trend setter. The next person might say setter dog. We'd allow a little wiggle room if we got stuck by letting the word come in front as in type setter. This idea came to me one day while watching Sesame Street with my daughters. At the time there was an animated spot in which an object is slowly turning and as it begins to show another side of the object it transforms into another object as it is turning.
