I'll be 58 in May; still happy, healthy and thriving.

I am 34 years old. Here's my additional information that makes me feel like an endangered species: I am a female who has never been married and does not have any children.

This thread is left over from when we were on ezboard. Our new forums are much more sophisticated. If you fill out your entire profile you will see that there is a field for your birthdate. :) And when you fill that out the entire community will know when to say Happy Birthday. Oh, don't act like that doesn't feel good! 8)

Also, look through your entire profile. There are lots of cool features. Some of them will not appear in your profile until you have 25+ posts. This keeps the spammers at bay.

Hi tarav -

I hope you are a happy lady who has never married and has no children - that would almost certainly make you an endangered species.

46 and brand new to booktalk.org, so I'm still finding my way around. I am divorced with 3 nearly grown daughters.

I hope you'll soon feel at home on all our forums.
In the mean time, if you have any questions just ask.

Thanks, Ophelia. I do have a question. What do the twinkling gold stars next to a person screen name mean?

The golden star next to a person's name indicates seniority at Booktalk.

You'll see that Chris has created an intricate hierarchy-- you've already progressed from "newbie" to getting comfortable", so you've already begun the walk towards the gold star. 8)
