I want to do this sometimes, but I restrain myself because I think, "Why can't you just sit down and run one plot line at a time!" When I start more than one book, a feeling of non-commitment convicts me. LOL. I admire your comfort in reading three books at once.Gao Yu Qing wrote:I'm usually reading several simultaneously. I'm currently reading 2 physical books (one hardcover for lunch and sit-down times, one paperback for slipping into a pocket and carrying with me), and I usually have an audio book going in the car for my commute.

How do you keep track of what you've read? Or, does it matter to you?candy2050 wrote:I always have one book started. I usually have an audio book going in my car. I usually have an audio book going in my sewing room. And sometimes I have a second book going when I have had to start a new one because I left the first one home or in the car.
I almost always get my books from the library. I am so cheap and I almost never reread a book.
I'm interested in knowing because you never reread. Do you remember to tell people about the ones you liked?
I think I'd forget.

Re: how often do you guys read a book?
I try to read one outside-of-coursework book every two weeks. As some of you may know, teachers are always writing supplementary materials for texts we teach in school, so that consumes some of the brain space I'd rather reserve for personal reading.
Re: how often do you guys read a book?
I have insomnia some nights and can read two or three a night. I'm a speed reader, but I re-read a lot of them four or five times a month. Does that answer your question?

Two or three a night? Even with the speed reading factor, that's still a LOT of readng.

Wow, do you actually read two or three books per night? Is that even possible?GenMa3 wrote:I have insomnia some nights and can read two or three a night. I'm a speed reader, but I re-read a lot of them four or five times a month
