Bert Jansch, a guitarist of great ability, and if looks mean anything, the father of The Clash's Mick Jones, died a few days ago. Here is Bert, along with compatriot John Renbourne (neither playing guitar in this clip,) in Pentangle, playing the old standard The House Carpenter.

right now my favorite song is "Never Alone" by BarlowGirl. They're a christian rock group, and normally I don't like anything to do with Christianity, but there's something about this song that moves me and just helps. I have no idea what it is.
