The trouble is Robert, I always thought the parable about the man who bought the field....because he knew there was treasure buried in it....was not a good example of scrupulous honesty.

Also, I never much liked the wise virgins...who wouldn't share their oil...I thought they were just mean.

And so I always felt suspicious that a man like Jesus would have used these parables........
