uod_sa_libro is actually a literal translation for "worm in a book" in our language. It's a nickname a friend gave me in high school 'cause I was such a bookworm. Hehehe

Thanks for the moniker, Al!

I = Me, Not You, Just Me

Luv = Slang Abbreviation for 'Love'

Bookz = Typo? Naw. More like pathetic mispronunciation for 'Books'

13 = Mah age, duh!

Typically I create a username based off of three things:

> My age; I tend to put my age at either the end or the beginning of the name

> Something I like; an object or item that I enjoy/like that has some relation to what server I am creating a username for

> A random collection of numbers; typically basic like '1,2,3' or '7,8,9'

My usernames can be very simple, and yet they can have a very cool, simple meaning behind them :D

Hey all... Newbie here.

I always strive for anonymity, but sometimes, you lack creativity and you stick with something old.

Banana... was always attached to my name. Because it fits.

Which has led to many interesting nicknames off that... some people just call me nana. I am a grandmother to many...

'nana, banananananana, chiquita....

Wow! I have a 13 year old, not quite as savvy as you.

You are pretty great using the computer.

What are your plans for keeping busy this summer before school starts up again?

'lottebeertje' is basically my given name, Lotte, which is quite an ordinary name back here in the Netherlands (it's been in the top 20 names for girls for quite a long time. I believe that it's been recently surpassed by Sophie and Anne) and beertje is an abbreviation of my surname.
Lotte is an abbreviation of my actual first name, Charlotte, and it gained popularity through a book of Goethe's (Die Leiden des Jungen Werther, if I'm not mistaken). There are also a city named Lotte and a Lotteplätz in Germany, haha! :D

The "grey" part: Gray is my favorite color, but I think how the British spell it (grey).

The "ixia" part: Ixia (pronounced ik-see-uh) is a type of flower that I used as a name for one of my characters in a short story called "Plain Flower"

I doubt that there's actually a gray Ixia, but I really like the name Ixia ever since I discovered it. Besides, I think it sounds cool B)

Poettess is my default "identity" because:

A. I have enjoyed and written poetry for years and years, since probably the 7th grade....wait..if you count Dr. Seuss since the age of 3 or 4.

B. I created my yahoo account with that name about 16 years ago and its just easier to stick with one alias rather than making one up every time I join a group.

Thank you all for sharing your interesting stories on this thread, it was a joy to read.
