Suspense books with sociopath villains...

What is your favorite suspense novel (or series)?


If you are looking for great suspense with strong female characters, an excellent suspense novel is Heart of Ice by Lis Wiehl, legal analyst for Fox News. Wiehl draws on her experience as a prosecutor and creates a great story. This book is the third in a series featuring the amazing women of the “Triple Threat Club”—federal prosecutor Allison Pierce, crime reporter Cassidy Shaw, and FBI special agent Nicole Hedges. The villain, Elizabeth Avery, is a chillingly real sociopath who manipulates and uses people to get what she wants. I loved it.
