Hello, From Kiwes the Avid Reader and Writer

Unread post

My name is Kimberly Ranee Hicks, but you can call me Kiwes, a combination of my name and my husband's name. I am female, of course! :D

I'm originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, the Home of the 6 Time Superbowl Champs, The Pittsburgh Steelers and now we are the Proud "Mirror Ball" Winner, (Dancing With The Stars) Hines Ward our Receiver #86, but I live in the suburbs now of New Kensington, PA~~But always a Black and Gold kinda Gal.

My Hobbies are Writing, Reading, Music, Cooking and Sports, and Yes in that particular order.

I am truly a book lover. Everything about books is a turn on for me. I will read any genre of books, but my all-time favs are memoirs, biographies and non-fiction, but again, I'll read anything, as long as it's good!

I learned about BookTalk.org through Facebook, and since I'm an author, and also an avid reader, I decided I wanted to be apart of this wonderful community.

I'm happy to be here, and welcome anyone's feedback. Thank you for your kind welcome, Chris! I look forward to posting with you and the others of this community. Take care everyone!

Please stop by and say hello anytime! I can't wait to discuss the books I've read recently and the ones I'd love to suggest for great summer reading!

Toodles!

:thankyou:

Welcome, Kiwes. I went to the same high school as Hines, but I can't dance. Hope you find some good reads here.

Hi Harrison, it's a pleasure to meet you, and you have a new friend here because I love Hines. He's my favorite Steeler, so that's really awesome. I really like the look and feel of BookTalk. Thanks again for contacting me!
