Time to read--JennO

Unread post

Hello, I am Jennifer and I live in upstate NY. Since I was a child I have always loved to read, but with two small children and night classes I have found little time to sit and enjoy a good book. I finished my degree in Health Science this past February so my evenings are now free. I spent the past few months recovering from my grueling work/family/school schedule and refused to partake in any activity that required any type of deep thought, and caught up on all the television shows that I had missed over a 5+ year span. Now bored with television I am ready to get back to what I love most.

There is not one particular sort of book that I enjoy reading most, but lately I tend to gravitate towards non-fiction books-usually ones that delve into sociological issues. I always enjoy a good fiction book though, and have a particular fondness for Richard Russo whose stories are almost always based on the local towns that I have known all my life.

It would make me happy to have reading on the top of my hobby list again. At the moment that spot is occupied by navigating toy obstacle courses and laundry.

I look forward to interacting with you all!
