Hello, Fellow Readers!
Hello, Everyone! I'm an avid reader from eastern Canada. I'm a retired woman who always has a book on the go. An excellent one I just finished was "The Headmaster's Wager", and I'm currently re-reading The Hobbit in anticipation of seeing the movie when it comes out next month. My tastes in reading are quite eclectic - I enjoy everything from literary fiction, mysteries, autobiographies, historical fiction, good humour (not always easy to find), some science fiction and fantasy. I look forward to participating here, once I find my way around.

Welcome RG, always glad to have another reader join us. I am also retired, and can now devote more time to my reading and writing. Jump right in and don't be afraid; no one here bites. If you have scanned the site, you know we are disucssing "The Hobbit" (along with other books), so do join in.

As Cattleman says we're reading and discussing "The Hobbit" over the course of the next several months. We'd sure love to have you join us in that forum. Scan the forum list and look for the proper forum and join right in.
