Newbie, but hopefully not for long

Unread post

Hi my name is Vic and I'm from Southern California. I love reading all kinds of books but lean towards mysteries. I also consider myself a closet author.

I look forward to adding to the community!

Hello Vic. It's nice to meet you.

My name is Michael and I too love reading, but lean towards fantasy.

Welcome to the community, Vic. :-)

I've never read a mystery so I really should give that genre a chance. Any suggestions for a first exposure to the mystery genre?

Hello, Vic, I am new here too - and I love mysteries! May I recommend 'Dumb Witness' by Agatha Christie? (assuming you haven't read it already!) The plot is interesting enough, and overall, it is quite an entertaining book.
Greetings!

Wow thanks to everyone for such a kind welcoming party!

Chris a good place to start I think, besides the oldies but goodies, is with Sue Grafton's novels starting with "A Is For Alibi".
Vickyartell I will check it out!

Hello and thanks again!
