Devil in the Grove: Thurgood Marshall, the Groveland Boys, and the Dawn of a New America by Gilbert King

A thorough and fascinating study of an important civil rights case and the work of Thurgood Marshall and the NAACP. Well-written, extensive research and an insightful look into tragic events in our American history. Painful to read at times but information that we should know. Certainly deserving of the Pulitzer Prize for Non-fiction. This should be required reading for all!!! I highly recommend it!
