A better goodreads?

Hey all - my name is Mike Eidlin and I'm a co-founder of bookmarq. We recently launched our v1.0 out on the app store, but I was hoping to get some feedback from book lovers! We are still a very early stage startup, but our mission is to help you find out what books your friends and influencers are reading.

We've found that goodreads aims to connect authors to readers, while we'd like to connect readers to readers. You can even import your goodreads library when you sign up :)

Unfortunately we're iOS only at the moment, because our team is still tiny (5 of us total). Your feedback would directly influence what features we would put out in the future! We've partnered up with Barnes & Noble to get our data from them, so we're super excited about that.

Would you mind trying out our app? Perhaps letting me know on this forum, what you think, what features you'd like to see?

This looks like a great idea! However, I do not own any iOS products so I can't peer any further than the screenshots. The biggest thing I would say you want to work on right now is adapting your code to a web application. You could write a simple one in PHP and theme it using Bootstrap as it appears you are doing with the current website, or you could tell one of your developers to get good at Rails.
