best book I've read in years

Unread post

I'm still looking for a reader who has read "Out Stealing Horses". It is the best book I've read in years--quiet, understated, compact and packs a wallop.

I haven't read "Out stealing Horses" Mmorgan, but I can tell you what to do to try and get other Booktalk members to discuss it with you:

In the Fiction forum, go to "Fiction books suggestions and polls". Once you've clicked, you'll see a thread in blue at the top "Announcements..."
Make a thread for the book you're interested in, explain why you think this would be a good idea for a selection.
If possible make a link to a site with more info like amazon.

For books which attract some attention but not enough to become a Booktalk selection, there is sometimes the possibility of a sidebar discussion.

Hi Mmorgan,

Thanks for the book recommendation. I've added it to my ever-growing "to read" list. Being of very distant Norwegian descent, once I'm finished reading it I'll pass it on to my father. I'm sure he will also enjoy it.

Jan.
