Hello there!

Unread post

I joined booktalk because I'm an intense bibliophile and felt that my voracity for reading (I really do consume books) was rarely shared around me. Plus it's always nice to find a different read and hear others' suggestions/interpretations of literature.

I'm a youngin'--18--and live near San Francisco, California. Currently, I'm a college student in my second year, about to finish community college. I'm a music ed. major, my primary instrument being Doublebass.

My absolute favorite author is David Foster Wallace (Consider The Lobster's my favoritefavorite) and also an avid reader of the classics. My favorite Shakespeare play is "The Two Gentlemen of Verona", although it depresses me that it's rarely found in singular book form. I'd hate to haul a giant Shakespeare anthology around just to read it again!

Anyway, enough blah-ing from me. It's nice to meet all of you :)
