Hello, my name is Jordan Lane. I live in Jacksonville,Florida, I am 20 years old. I am a Unix Systems Administrator for Technisource currently, so I pretty much sit around all day do 10 minutes worth of work and get paid for 8. Um....
I have a cat named Lumpkins( Lord of the Rings) he pees on my external hard drive on a monthly basis(and fries it.) Some of my favorite hobbies are gaming, reading, programming, :hmm: and robot crafting... yeah I said it robot crafting. I grew up in Princeton. New Jersey, and that is all I can think of.

Quick question... you say that one of your hobbies is gaming, what games do you mean?

Welcome Jordan! I also am a person that sits around at a technical helpdesk for hours for a few minutes of work...and I also love gaming (rpgs, board, cards etc..) there must be some sort of archetype that we fit into.

Look forward to seeing what books you enjoy besides LOTR.

No, I move the hard drive often but he is a fat ninja cat. I came home after getting Chinese takeout and I had closed my a desk cubicles door with my drive in it. Well when I got back thousands of bite and claw marks were all over the rubber handle and he was laying on my pillow staring at me with a 'How dare you' face.... I love DnD, MMO's, RTS's(Warcraft,Warhammer etc.) I also LARP sometimes.... It is fun.

I used to play DnD and I Larped for a short time, but I could never get into the computer games... they are to limited to someone with my imagination.

In DND I was the guy who liked to crack a whip to scare away the enemies’ horses… throw caltrops in front of pursing orcs… set booby traps… topple tables and pull on carpets to throw enemy combatants off balance… dump carts of ale barrels onto the street to hinder pursuit… bribe and distract dangerous/unintelligent animals with food… heck one of my characters even threw a live chicken at someone to get the initiative.

You just cannot do this stuff in a computer game yet…

Hey Jordon.

I've been playing console RPGs most of my life.
How do online RPGs differ gameplay and story wise?
