Hello To All
Hi. I want to introduce myself, even though I have been here observing for a while. I want to make sure I totally understand the process. First I want to thank Chris for featuring my books. I also want to give a shout out to Dr Paradise for recommending the site to me. I live in northeast Indiana, where if you're breathiong... the weather is changing. I reside here with my husband, we have 2 grown children and 6 grandchildren. We share our home with our two little Bichons, Dusty Boy & Weezer Girl. I love animals, with a special place in my heart for dogs. I love to write, and to read, including poetry. I also love love to lose myself in the stories of others. It's the best way to take a trip, and never leave home. A very smart thing to do this time of the year. I look forward to spending time here and making new friends. Thank you to Chris for giving me this opportunity. ![Very Happy :D](https://www.booktalk.org/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

Hello and welcome Carolyn!
I have noticed your book, "The Journey, The Dreams, and AnnaBelle". I enjoy reading personal stories. What else have you written?

Re: Hello To All
Hello Suzanne.... Thank you for your comment and for noticing my book. I also completed & published the follow-up to "The Journey, The Dreams, & AnnaBelle", It is titled "AnnaBelle's Spirit". They are both non-fiction. The first book contains some of my poetry that follow's part of the story's timeline. The second book has only 1 poem. They both contain old photos. Thank you for your interest in my writing. It means a lot to me.Suzanne wrote:Hello and welcome Carolyn!

Dear Oblivion....Thank you for your welcome. Since I do love poetry I will be joining you in the poetry forum. I believe some poems are a window to the soul of the writer, that's what makes them so touching & personal.oblivion wrote:We're very pleased to have you here. Re: Hello To All
Hello Carolyn:
I just wanted you to know that I have been awarded a book from Chris, and I choose "The Journey, The Dreams, and AnnaBelle". I would be very interested in talking to you about it after I read it. I think it is very exciting to have writers on board here at BT.

What a wonderful surprise this morning to see your post. Not to mention that Chris has the book in the mail. I am very excited, and I would love to talk to you about the book after you read it. I have to wonder if all writers are nervous about this. I hope you like the book. They become like children to us I guess. You just want everyone to love them... and that's generally not the case. I used to tell my oldest Granddaughter (when she became sassy) "People don't like you when you act like that". I hope to grow and learn from others who read my work. It can be positive for me with my writing in the future. There is always room for improvement. Thanks again.... Have a great day!!
