An interactive graphic

I suggest dragging the slider to one side and then using the arrow keys to move it

here's an interesting article.

It turns out that the universe is huge. At it's smallest, it's at least 250 times larger than all that we can see.

Are you pushing your own short comings on us and safely hating them from a distance?

Is this the virtue of faith? To never change your mind: especially when you should?

Young Earth Creationists take offense at the idea that we have a common heritage with other animals. Why is being the descendant of a mud golem any better?

Superb! And more informational than a walk along the Rose Center Planetarium "Cosmic Pathway".

I was especially intrigued by the 7 meter earthworm. I looked it up in Guinness Book of Records, and it's true!

Chris, (Or anyone?)
Is there an easy way to post an audio file to one of these threads? At present, it looks to me like all I can do is post a link to some file that is published elsewhere. I want to post a home-made audio file, an .mp3 or quicktime file.

Any suggestions?

(Sorry if this is off topic. I'm still having some difficulty understanding how to contact people directly.)

We've seen the star size comparisons.

Here's a galaxy size comparison.

Solar flares.

Titanic jets of plasma.

How big? Very big.

"big" might not be the right word.
