I agree with you.

Ooooooooh I forgot about those movies! I can't handle any of the Chucky movies. I guess it's the whole fact that I had lots of dolls growing up, and it's terrifying thinking they'd come to life and try to kill me. *eyes stuffed tiger in corner warily*

When I first saw Chucky, I believe I was 12, and I was at a birthday party. I pretended I really needed a drink and went to the kitchen and didn't come back for 20 minutes. I'm a total scary movie chicken and that hasn't changed much.

I never saw "It"... maybe that's why I've never had a problem with clowns. I am certainly creeped out by large dolls that seem at all Chucky-esque. :( But really any cheap scare tends to get me. In Will Smith's "I Am Legend" I thought I was going to have a heart attack and die - like for real - when he is about to go into the dark building. I'm a grown up and I'm scared of people in movies going into dark buildings! Really, really scared. O.O

I actually didn't have any problems with "It". We watched it at one of my birthday parties when I was younger. Needless to say, there were a lot off screaming girls that night. I can handle pretty much any movie now, except for the Chucky movies. Those still creep me out.

I remember watching the "Scream" movies at a friend's house when they first came out. All the girls were hiding under blankets except me. There was a glass sliding door in the dining room, and they were convinced there was something outside that was gonna get us. I had to walk over there and turn on the outside light to prove there wasn't anything there.

I would have soiled my knickers if I had a bunch of dolls growing up.

As for "It"... maybe I watched it too late? When I did watch it I kind of laughed at everything? Maybe the younger you watch a movie the more it'll stay with you. Then again when I was younger I thought The Ring was scary whereas now I just think it's cool.

I was nervous to be around TVs after watching "The Ring". I think that's one of the scariest movies I've ever seen! That and "The Descent" are right up there.

My grandma had have a video shop and once she wasn´t at home, so I wanted to see the "nice film with the doll. After these movie I was scared of all dolls. In my room was a big clown.. I hated him since I´ve seen ""Chucky" ;)
Everytime I see the movie again I have to watch an hour a comedy movie or play something here.. So I don´t have to think about Chucky

This is one thing I'll never forget, ever. The movie was Frankenstein. I was about 5 years old and my brother a year older. I spent most of the movie under my seat. My brother was constantly telling me it's OK and so forth. Then there was a scene where (if memory serves me correctly) he falls down a shaft and gets impaled. It was all over for me after that. I could not be consoled at all.

My first time "trick or treating" that I can recall was just as traumatic but that's a story for another day.
