I know. I thought about correcting that gender issue but it didn't bother me.

I'm a male nurse who drinks VERY girly drinks (Blue Maui, Peach Sunset, funny flavored margaritas). I'm used to it, so it didn't really stand out to me. lol

Blah. Never understood the fascination with Jack Daniels.

People laugh when I explain how bad beer taste to me but then order a Peach Sunset.

Beer is pretty gross. I like Kahlua myself, preferably with half n half in what we used to call a sombrero, and now call either a white russian sans vodka or a mudslide sans Baileys...

The NN is very old and from chat, the flip side of snugglebuns or honeykins....

I've been known to throw back a Pepsi or two in my day. ;]

Given the fact that it's not legal for me to drink half of the year.... I'm not too caught up on what's "good."

(Yeah, I totally awkward turtled the first half of this thread...)

Okay, I just started trying this, like, last week and I'm not sure if these sites even work... but you type in the name of the book you liked, and it comes up with others like it. Of course it's kind of a meh system, but it could help?

Kahlua? Ok.

Ever have a "Duck Fart"? Kahlua, Baily's and Crown layered shot.

Neat site, does it get better at guessing over time? I see some books on that list I don't think I would ever get to....unless I can live forever and all of humanity stops writing books, in which case I could run out enough eventually :)

Which half of the year is it legal for you to drink? Pepsi is my drink of choice everyday. I think I last drank at my youngest daughters wedding--in 2008.

Yeah, what's with this "legal to drink half the year" stuff anyway?

Is it cause you turn 21 half way through the year or something?

LoL can't say I ever did try that one, but since I don't like Baileys much, I'm thinking I'll pass on it....although with an attractive name like Duck Fart I can't imagine why I never did try it before...:D

Its like they say about books "Don't judge a book by it's cover." I learned that one in Baltimore. Bartender who got to know me said he thought I'd like it.

Never in a million years would I have thought a thread about what book to buy my mother next would turn into a drinking conversation. Ah well.
