Oh God, I'm so embarrassed....I didn't mean Heinlein and Lazarus. I have read one....but the book I was thinking about when I posted was called 'A Canticle for Leibowitz' by Walter M. Miller, Jr., first published in 1960.

Just ignore me....It is a good book though.... :blush:
Only those become weary of angling who bring nothing to it but the idea of catching fish.

I love A Canticle for Leibowitz. I've read it many times. I love the character of the wandering jew and the long view it takes on human history.
Too long for journals, too short for novels,
